On October 14-15, the CFE2024 3rd China Flow Battery Energy Storage Conference, jointly hosted by New Energy Network, Global Flow Battery Network, and Global Energy Storage Network, was held in Jinan, Shandong Province. The conference, with the theme of "Long term Energy Storage New Era, Flow Hybrid Energy Storage New Trend," gathered top experts in the industry, more than 40 leading enterprises, and 150+upstream and downstream industry chain enterprises. With a diverse range of technology routes, the conference focused on the latest progress and future trends of flow battery energy storage technology. ZH Energy Storage was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech, and was awarded the "Top 30 Outstanding Units in China's Flow Battery Energy Storage for 2023-2024".

The "Top 30 Excellent Units in China's Flow Battery Energy Storage" are selected based on factors such as the scale, strength, landing projects, production capacity, and market appeal of flow batteries. These outstanding enterprises are selected as benchmarks, guides, and have significant influence and outstanding contribution to promoting the development of the flow battery industry. They also have experience in project landing cases. Through systematic research and comprehensive evaluation, the top 30 excellent units in the industry are selected.

Dr. Xie Wei, the Chief Scientist of our company, was invited by the host to deliver a speech titled "Material Solutions for Improving Efficiency and Reducing Costs of Flow Batteries". Dr. Xie Wei stated, "In the field of long-term large-scale liquid flow energy storage, ZH Energy Storage has independently developed high-performance and low-cost sulfur iron liquid flow battery energy storage technology, which comprehensively covers the research and development, manufacturing, and production of electrolytes, stacks, core key materials, energy storage systems, and other products, and provides comprehensive solutions for high safety level energy storage. Based on the current market pain points of high installation costs and limited vanadium resources for all vanadium flow batteries, by addressing material innovation to improve efficiency and reduce costs, we can effectively solve the industry's market pain points and resource problems from three aspects: improving stack power density, developing high-performance, low-cost non fluoride ion exchange membranes, and developing resource rich, low-cost sulfur iron electrolytes. This will reduce installation costs and make the total cost of electricity throughout the entire life cycle much lower than that of lithium and sodium batteries. The total cost of combining with wind and solar power generation is lower than that of thermal power generation, and can achieve comprehensive substitution of new energy. "
